Dr. Ana Bocio Sanz has a degree in pharmacy from the University of Barcelona and a PhD from the Rovira i Virgili University. She holds a diploma in Health from the National School of Health. Co-director of the UPF/BSM Public Health Postgraduate Program and member of the Academic Council of the UPF/UAB Master in Public Health.

Since 2005 she has been working at the Public Health Agency of Catalonia, where she currently holds the position of Deputy Director General of Health Promotion.

She has been an associate professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the Rovira i Virgili University, from 2001 to 2018, teaching Medicine and Human Nutrition and Dietetics. She has collaborated as a researcher in research projects and has several publications in national and international indexed journals.
