Ana Pastor Julián

Second Vice President @ Congress of Deputies

She is currently second vice president of the Congress of Deputies, executive secretary of Health of the Popular Party and deputy of the Popular Parliamentary Group in the Congress of Deputies.

She has been president of the Congress of Deputies from 2016 to 2019, Minister of Development from 2011 to 2016 and Minister of Health and Consumption from 2002 to 2004.

She has also held the positions of Vice-Secretary for Social Policy of the PP, Coordinator of Social Participation of the PP, Executive Secretary of Social Policy and Well-being of the PP, Second Vice-President of Congress during the IX Legislature and Third Vice-President of the Congress of Deputies in the XIII Legislature.

In addition, she has held different positions in the Administration, including Director General of MUFACE (1996), Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Culture (1999), Undersecretary of the Ministry of the Presidency (2000) and Undersecretary of the Ministry of the Interior (2001).
Throughout her political career she has been elected deputy of the Cortes Generales for Pontevedra in seven legislatures and in this XIV legislature, for Madrid.

She has a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Salamanca and is a specialist in Family and Community Medicine.

Career officer of the Superior Corps of Public Health and Health Administration.

Associate professor at the Carlos III University of Madrid, in the subject of Comparative Public Management Systems.

He is an Executive MBA in Business Management, Master in Public Health and Master in Health Administration.
