Graduate in Biology (University of Barcelona). Master in Food Biotechnology from ETSIB (Barcelona Higher Technical School of Engineers), Executive MBA from INESE and Higher Course in Business Organization and Management from the Madrid Chamber of Commerce.

Throughout his professional life, he initially worked in the clinical analysis laboratory of the San Juan de Dios Hospital and has held various positions of responsibility in marketing and sales as well as commercial and divisional management in different companies in the health technology sector, in the field of in vitro diagnostics (Product Manager at Roche Diagnostics S.L., Business Unit Manager at Bayer, Check Up Division Director at Menarini Diagnostics S.L., Sales Director and then Marketing Director at Dade Behring S.A., etc.).

Since 2000, he has been Director of Fenin Catalunya and responsible for the Technologies and In Vitro Diagnostic sectors.

Married and with three kids
