David Velasco has a degree in Psychology from the University of Barcelona and has specialized in ESADE in Management of Non-Profit Organizations.

He has developed his professional career in “la Caixa” Foundation, leading different departments of the Social Area, specifically the Child Poverty Department (CaixaProinfancia) and the Humanization of Health. Since November 2021 he is the director of the Elderly People department of “la Caixa” Foundation.
