Joan Carles Contel has a Degree in Nursing from the Prínceps d’Espanya Nursing School of Universidad de Barcelona, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Healthcare Management and Management Practices and an Executive Master in Public Administration from ESADE Business School.
He is an Associate Professor at Universidad Barcelona, and the author of diverse publications and articles in journals related to “Chronic Care” and “Home Care”.
He is currently working on the Chronic Disease Prevention and Care Programme (PPAC) and the Integrated Health and Social Care Plan (PAISS) of Generalitat de Cataluña Department of Health.
