Nerea Amenabar Otaño is aged 34. Has a Degree in Business Management and Administration from Universidad de Deusto and has a Master’s Degree in Strategic Management and Auditing and Management Development from Deusto Business School. During the first 7 years of her professional life, she worked as a Risk Management Consultant and a Financial Auditor at Deloitte. In 2016 she founed MUGAT, a pioneering non-profit association that has promoted a new overnight home care service. She is currently the Director of Home Health Care and cofounder of the Ubikare Group. This company received an award from the economic journal Expansión as the best Biotech StartUp Biotech in 2019 and from the Provincial Council of Bizkaia as the best social innovation project. Its mission is to democratise healthcare by providing an integrated health and home care service using NAIHA (Natural & Artificial Intelligence Health Assistance), a tool developed by the company and certified as a Class IIa medical device.
