Pedro M. Cano Desandes is a manager in the Health and Socio-Health sector, with a degree in Medicine specialized in management of healthcare organizations, with experience in transformation processes, innovation projects and in the management of multifunctional teams. He has worked at the management committee level since 1999 in strategy, digital transformation, creation of new services, change management, technology, and quality – processes – operational excellence functions. He is currently the director of strategy, planning and organization at the Parc Taulí Health Corporation Consortium of Sabadell – Catalonia. In this position, he has the responsibility of promoting and facilitating the creation and development of Parc Taulí’s strategic initiatives and making the transformation process a reality that should allow it to respond in the coming years to the challenges of new healthcare needs, the increase of chronicity, changes in mental health and a new integrated social and health care for the people they serve in Vallès Occidental Este.
