Tom has extensive and diverse experience in health care both strategically, policy, operationally and politically.

He is currently the department head of the Division of Primary and Specialized Care. As of June 1, 2023, Wellness will also be integrated into the department.

The department has about 50 employees and manages about 0.8 billion euros.

Main objectives:

• • develop data-driven demand-driven and accessible and quality care and welfare offerings
  • enable integrated care by working across sectors within the government (pratice what you preach) and provide the necessary tools to facilitate this
  • A transparent and accountable government
