Philosopher and president of Fundación Víctor Grífols y Lucas. She has published several essays on ethics, political philosophy and bioethics. Among them: ”Virtudes públicas” (Espada de Ensayo Award), “Creer en la educación”, “El gobierno de las emociones” (National Essay Award), “Elogio del duda” and “La búsqueda de la felicidad”.

During her professional career, she has served as a director of the Audiovisual Council of Catalonia, from 2002 to 2008, and as president of the Television Content Commission, from 1993 to 1996, a period in which she was an independent senator for the PSC-PSOE. She is an honorary doctorate from the Universities of Huelva and Salamanca. From 2018 to 2022 she was a permanent State adviser.
